Why not make a weekend out of it and stay at Hotel Kilkenny, the Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel or the Kilkenny River Court Hotel.

Indulge in the famous Irish cuisine in food festivals across the country. The Roscommon Lamb Festival celebrates everything agricultural, with an emphasis on cuts of lamb from the end of April until early May. The Galway Food Festival takes place this month, from the 17th to the 21st. Finally, delve into the heart of Irish history and immerse yourself in the legends and folklore of Brian Boru and the O’Briens with festivals on in Dublin and Tipperary.
